First Person Tetris

First Person Tetris is an interesting twist on the usually boring and mundane game of Tetris. It follows each block as though the viewer is the block, even rotating with it. It definitely messes with the brain.

Circle The Cat

Circle the cat is a game where the objective is to trap the cat before it can escape. It is of mind-boggling difficultly although fairly easy to pick up. I managed to circle the cat after about my 50th try, and therefore have a great sense of accomplishment. If you too would like to feel accomplished, hit the link above and have a go.

Hooger Brooge is a surreal website that lets you interact with different animations. All of them give off an eerie sensation that can’t quite be put into words. If you’re into creepy things or are just looking to pass some time, hit the link.

Face is a really weird interactive web page that lets you manipulate a man’s face. Try it, it’s awesome.

I love Japan. They always find some way of turning the mundane into something much more beautiful, like in this video.

It’s a great organization that I’m actually going on an exchange with next summer. I hope the country I am chosen to go to is Japan, but part of the fun is in not knowing.

I don’t exactly know what the grand plan behind this unusual and really awesome idea was, but I’m almost sure it wasn’t meant to accomplish anything. Why can’t other countries be this interesting? No one in America would think of this, let alone do it, and if they did everyone would most likely be arrested and charged with something ridiculous like attempted murder.

A man in Fukuoka City reportedly said, “She died in late September. She wasn’t well before that and I asked her if she wanted to go to hospital but she said she didn’t need to go.” when arrested for “abandoning” the corpse of his wife. The police arrived to find Tatsuya Hirade’s wife’s body laying in bed, she had been dead for over a month. She had died and Tatsuya left her body there for some reason, necrophilia perhaps?

As many may know, Japanese game shows are notorious for being over-the-top and crazy while still letting their genius shine through. Most of these shows offer entertainment at the expense of the lucky person they have chosen, as seen in the clip above. Although the prank does seem a bit on the extreme side, no one can deny the hilarity of that clip. The Japanese are genius.

A cute story worth noting. Japan seems to be overly-obsessed with cats and dogs.
